Pongo and Perdita, or more commonly referred to as The Dalmatian Dogs, are the titular canine characters from Disney's 1961 animated feature, "One Hundred and One Dalmatians."

Pongo is presented as the male lead, acting as the pet and companion to bachelor Roger Radcliffe. Pongo, being a smart dog, orchestrates Roger's meeting and subsequent marriage to Anita, who owns Perdita. Pongo is known for his quick wit and dedication.

Perdita is the female lead, owned by Anita Radcliffe. She quickly becomes Pongo's mate and together they become the parents of fifteen Dalmatian puppies. Perdita is characterized as being graceful, kind, and deeply devoted to her family. She is also very protective of her puppies, putting their well-being above all else.

Both Pongo and Perdita bravely lead the charge against Cruella de Vil's evil plan to turn their puppies into a fur coat, ultimately rescuing not only their own litter, but an additional eighty-four Dalmatian puppies from Cruella's clutches. Their loyalty, intelligence, and bravery cement them as iconic Disney heroes.
